First, I apologize for not being very "blogful" this past month. It has been a month of reflection and conversation for Jen and I as we wait for word from a group of investors as to if they are going to get involved in building another office here in the Aiken area. Needless to say there is a lot of stress and such in the waiting.
In the meantime we have just returned from our 5th anniversary trip. We had friends (whom I did a wedding for) give us a gift certificate for two nights at the Two Meeting Street Inn in Charleston, SC. It was wonderful! The inn is charming and has lots of history. Being a bed and breakfast, you get to meet people in an entirely different setting than a hotel/motel. Below are a few pictures from the trip.

The past five years of marriage to Jen have been some of the most wonderful in my life and I am SO thankful for her being in my life. I am such a better man and person because of her. I can only hope that others can experience life to such fulness. Thanks baby, for being my bride.
The weekend had extremes of climate - one day was rainy and cold, the next sunny and mild. One day was both!!
We had great meals at Fleet Landing and Magnolias. Walked up the streets and the Battery. It was fun and relaxing.
If you ever get a chance to get to Charleston, SC and want to stay in a unique and "posh" inn, consider Two Meeting Street.
