Ok. Tomorrow I am scheduled for my surgery to fix my protruding "chitlins". I get up at 6:30 am - that's three hours later than normal - and I'm scheduled for a 7:45 am arrival. That sucks for Jen. But I can't drive myself back from the hospital.
In fact, it's kind of sad that I'm looking at this surgery as a "vacation" from work. I get a week off. In fact, I am not scheduled to return to work until April 11th! That is over a week off. YEAH!
You see things at UPS get REAL crazy around Master's week (remember I work in Augusta, GA - home of Augusta National). I will not be there. I will be resting my sliced, plugged, and sutured abdomen.
Jen's parents will be here for most of the week (the trip was planned before the surgery was set) and that is always fun:)
And, finally, I will get to watch the NCAA basketball championship final - usually I would be going to sleep at that time of night. This evening I'm watching South Carolina play Michigan in the NIT final. I love sports and I REALLY love being able to stay up and watch the games - damn, I sound like a 10 year old.
Anyhoo. I'll post after I get back to a conscious state, with a managed pain threshold:)
